The Casino time trial runs with a par time of 1:00.000. Start by crossing the freeway directly, keeping control as you climb the opposite side. From there, follow the GPS but consider cutting through the trees when heading west through Vinewood Hills. A sharp-handling car or a fast bike like the Shotaro or Hakuchou Drag is ideal.
Start your day like a pro: play 8 hours of Casino blackjack with your remortgager and divorce attorney, then wash it all down with a time trial through North LS to a Vinewood Hills mansion you'll never own.
General details
Time Trials is a series of freemode races added to the game with the Freemode Events update.
These short point-to-point races require beating a set par time for cash and reputation. A purple corona marks the start, shown on the map as a purple stopwatch icon. There are no checkpoints, so any route between start and finish can be taken. Races are live and solo; others in the session can see the racer, but Passive Mode prevents interference.
Courses rotate weekly, and once the par time is beaten, the trial disappears temporarily; repeat successes grant only consolation cash. Certain vehicles such as the Oppressor and Deluxo cannot be used, and since The Diamond Casino & Resort update all weaponized and special vehicles are disallowed and beating the par time pays double.
Until February 2016 there were 22 trials; the list later restarted, and the Peyote Gasser week event added 10 more.
Rewards
- $101,000 to $104,000 for beating the par time
- $1,000 to $4,000 for completing the TT without beating the par time
- 5,200 RP for beating the target time or a personal best
